Explore the role

  • Lead and mentor a team of developers through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and guidance;

  • Take ownership of a technical domain or product area and drive its evolution;

  • Facilitate backlog refinement, sprint planning, and team retrospectives;

  • Monitor team progress and support timely delivery of high-quality features;

  • Promote engineering best practices, clean code principles, and a DevOps mindset across the team;

  • Design and implement backend services and APIs for our merchants, partners and customers;

  • Monthly salary according to your expertise starting from -

    Latvia: 5000 - 6000 EUR gross before taxes; 

    Lithuania: 6000 - 7000 EUR gross before taxes.

Explore the criteria

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in production-grade Java or Go software development;

  • Ability to facilitate technical discussions, sprint planning, and code reviews;

  • Experience in system design, architecture, and making trade-offs between performance, maintainability, and scalability;

  • Strong understanding of testing practices;

  • Experience writing technical documentation for internal teams or external stakeholders;

  • Ownership mindset and ability to drive projects forward independently while aligning with business goals;

  • Previous experience and domain knowledge in payments, lending, or financial systems is a strong advantage.
