How do I reduce civil legal sanctions risks in my business operations?

In contracts with partners who may be at risk of sanctions, bearing in mind geographical, operational or other factors, we recommend including a so-called sanctions clause.
A sanctions clause should allow the customer to unilaterally withdraw from the fulfilment of a contract if UN, EU, national or U.S. OFAC sanctions affecting the performance of the contract are imposed.
