Is permission required for the asset to be taken abroad?

Please note that SIA “Citadele Leasing” does not issue permits for travelling with leased vehicles to Russia, Belarus, or Ukraine. 
You do not need our permission when travelling by car within Lithuania and other European Union countries. 
If you plan to travel outside the EU and the Schengen area, prior approval from us is required, as the legal owner of the vehicle is SIA “Citadele Leasing” Lithuanian Branch. You can submit the request by logging in to the leasing portal – select your agreement and fill in the form under “Other requests”. 
When planning your trip, we also recommend checking whether your CASCO insurance is valid in the countries you intend to visit.
