What are the most common reasons why the bank does not extend the credit limit?

There is not one or more reasons why the bank will not agree to extend the credit limit, as the client's solvency is assessed based on both the Consumer Credit Responsible Lending Regulations of the Bank of Lithuania and Citadele Bank's internal lending rules. It can be insufficient monthly income, or the income remaining after financial obligations have been paid; both an unacceptable credit history (existing or previous delays in fulfilling financial obligations, debts), and excessive other credit obligations (e.g. a home loan with a spouse), etc. and etc.
