International payment orders

An international payment provides the quickest and most secure means of sending money abroad. As long as you know the beneficiary’s bank account details, you can make payments to any company, individual or to an account that you hold at another bank.

You can provide us with your instructions by using on-line banking Citadele internet bank or by visiting the nearest branch of Citadele Bank.

Please note that for payments to the United Arab Emirates, you must enter the purpose of payment codes in the 'Details' field. The code consists of 3 capital letters, which are written before the text, for example: TKT, Tickets. The purpose of payment codes must be provided to you by the payee and written in English. Without this information, we will not be able to process your payment.

Attention: Please check carefully if you have entered the account number correctly. The payment transaction is executed according to the beneficiary’s account number indicated by you. In case the account number is indicated incorrectly, the funds may be credited to another client’s account, even if the recipient’s name is correct.
