Modernisation works of the banking IT systems have been scheduled on 9 August 2008, from 4:00 am to 11:00 am. "Parex Internet bankas" and "SMS bankas" systems will therefore be out of operation. Modernisation works may also cause possible short-term failures when paying by "American Express" cards. Customer service units will open on 9 August (Saturday), at 12:00 noon.
